Piston compression is famous for its excellent energy efficiency. CompAir has simultaneously consolidated and developed this proven technology to remain at the forefront. High quality, rugged design and excellent energy efficiency, all you need for a quick payback. Throughout its long life cycle, the R Series continues to deliver economical compressed air year after year.

Advantages

  • Energy saving potential of up to 20%.
  • Robust and durable technology.
  • High reliability.
  • Easy maintenance.
  • High quality oil-free air.
  • Exhaustive electronic control.
  • Open or sound-insulated housing.

Design

The high-performance, double-acting piston compressor design significantly reduces the input of electrical energy, both at medium and full load. The quick change from full to half load and vice versa ensures a flexible response to compressed air demand and a low pressure difference in the network. At the same time, vacuum losses are reduced to a minimum, only 8-9% of the generating capacity in the case of piston compressors. Significant energy savings are achieved through low input energy at full load, narrow pressure band and low vacuum losses.

The units are delivered with all electrical connections ready, are easy to install and require no additional foundation.
